Beautify your ordinary concrete with acid staining.

Acid stain is a chemical stain used to color concrete. The stain is applied to the concrete surface with a sprayer or brush. Upon contact with the concrete surface, the acid stain begins a chemical reaction with the lime present in the concrete. Unlike paint, acid stain colors are produced by a chemical reaction in the concrete resulting in a permanent coloring that will not chip or fade.

Concrete surfaces can be acid stained to produce a rustic patina or wood look. There are endless possibilities. Because acid stains are chemical stains, not paint, the colors produced are mottled and variegated. Each floor is unique due to the chemical reaction of the acid stain on the concrete. Acid stained concrete floors will not weather, fade, or chip and will not need to be re-stained.

Where can acid stain be used?

This application is great for restaurants, hotels, homes, office buildings, show room floors and much more.

The best effect is produced on smooth, hard troweled surfaces. Because this type of finish is commonly found indoors, most acid stain jobs are retail show rooms, restaurant floors, residential/commercial floors, etc.
